Glad to hear the news! IE6 is a heap of junk – and clients don’t realise how much their sites’ are being compromised by being IE6 compatible. And then there’s the extra cost of coding and testing specifically for this fatally flawed browser. I really do hate IE6, and Microsoft continuing to support it – it is holding back web development. It’s a case of loads of sites being broken on IE6 that will force these people to upgrade (I would love to know who is using it, and what their demographic profile is. I suspect they are not commercially viable target markets). It’s not an easy sell to give a client when a friend of a friend using IE6 says their site’s broken, but maybe a responsibility for web designers to ditch it.

Internet Explorer 8 have been my most used browser this year, it is definitely stable and fast loading too. -

Internet Explorer 8 is very good because it is as stable as Opera. I hate the previous versions of IE like IE6 because it hangs frequently. “
